Shifting works fine on both sides. The handlebar ring has a flimsy attachment to the body so it's fairly easy to break if banged the wrong way under heavy use.

You need to make sure you have a SRAM switch for this switch to work properly. I bought two of these and found them bad as I found that if you have a different brand switch. This switch is not working properly

The description in Revain is not clear which switches they sell. This is a 2 speed left front derailleur for a derailleur that works in a 2x10 system.

I replaced a Deore 2x3x derailleur which for some reason only worked 3x unfortunately I have 2 rings in front. Fairly easy to install, I replaced the cable housing I had to purchase. No 2x3x switch to mess around with what I need. Very satisfied!

This was a replacement for the exact same shifter I had on my motocross bike for 5 years. The old X5 switch broke on top of the case next to the bracket, but it wasn't the bracket itself. It looks like it was due to regular upshift stresses. But it's a great option for budget travelers. Pretty good switch
