Work great! - Parts

They go great with my 2015 Tacoma work truck. I loaded 3 tool boxes and they hold the bed up right where it would sag without them. I still have slack for more weight if needed

Pros
  • Nice package
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Best mod but good for shocks, struts and suspension

I don't give 5 stars. But this is a product I'm glad I bought. I don't tow or ride off-road but it still works great. The ride got a little rougher, but once you loaded the springs. No more sagging and stable. Highly recommended. 10 minutes installation

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • No performance

Helped my Tacoma tow

Took about 20 minutes to install. I measured, loaded and hooked up my 2017 Tacoma to a trailer, before and after. After installing the Sumo springs, I sat 1.5 inches higher than without them. Much less sag. When my truck is empty, it doesn't sit on sumo springs at all.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

They work as advertised and more

These things are excellent. I ruined my Taoma's rear suspension by overloading it with bags of cement several times. The leaf springs are still bent down (waiting for a replacement) and thousands of pound springs hold them together. I still wear 500-600# materials once a week just to not overuse them, and they even feel better than standard leaf springs. I recommend them 100%.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Mostly ok, but...

Real work to keep truck level

I was thinking about airbags for my 2019 Tacoma 4x4 while towing a 1200# trailer with a Kawasaki Teryx4 1600# loaded on it . After much research I decided on SumoSprings. I'm glad I did. I don't know how heavy my tongue is, but the truck has a measured sag of only 1/2 inch when the Teryx is fully pressed against the truck's front beam. Really reduces truck roll under load and improves roll stability. This is a newer version that is about 1/2 inch shorter so it doesn't touch the frame unless…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
