🎨 Staedtler Karat Aquarell Professional Watercolor Pencils (Pack of 6) - White Review

I've used several brands of watercolor pencils including Derwent and Prismacolor art pencils. I actually love the Staedtler much more! The colors blend better and are more vibrant to me. I had a small set and couldn't find them anywhere so I was very happy to find this set at Revain.

Beautiful crayons, excellent packaging. I chose the German Staedtler quality because I have a set of felt pens from the same company that have served me well for over ten years. You can certainly find cheaper watercolor pencils, but definitely not in the same caliber or with the same type of container to protect them from loss.

These pencils come in a wide range of colours. I've been using these Staedtler pencils since the 90's. Deep, rich colors. I haven't tried them with water yet, so there are no reviews. Having bought 2 sets (12 and 24) I think the pencils will suit me for the next year or so. They're a little pricey, but they last a long time, so I think they're a good choice. Good quality pencils with deep colors, you will love them.

I used it for the fine details of my Robin watercolor. Pencils sharpen well, hold their edge, don't break, and go smooth. I had a few Faber-Castell student models that weren't good enough and did a lot of research before buying. So far I'm a fan! Color options are good too, lots of blue and orange/red. I look forward to using them in the future to add detail to my paintings before washing them off with water. It's much easier to do fine work this way, or you can let it dry to add texture.

These are the best watercolor pencils I've found. Incredible colors, triangular shape (ergonomic) and works great both alone and with my regular watercolors. They're fun to use, mix and create colors (despite being very pigmented) and I've even been able to mix these pens to create transition colors when drawing peacock feathers, trees and whatever. I love to paint with watercolors but these are amazing w/c pencils. Sometimes I just feel like painting and wish I could use them wet or dry. I'm…
