Works well and looks great.

It fits my microphone snugly and cancels out almost all the noise my lips and breath make. I've noticed that if I speak directly into him, my "P"s still pop up a bit, but if I speak a little less directly into him, no problem. I do voice overs and voice overs for quite a lot of videos and it doesn't negatively affect the quality of the final product.

NECESSARY! - Accessories

We got them in different colors for our auction house. Hey, nobody wants to use a mic that someone has spat on during hours of conversation, so as far as we know it MUST have an item. They clean up great with soap and water, all they have is foam and they hold their shape, and they do the best job of supporting our expensive mics. We love the multicolor so everyone knows which one they are.

Great microphone foam ball

I received this microphone foam ball to protect the brand new Audio-Technica ATR-30 Professional Unidirectional Microphone from possible debris or saliva when speaking into the microphone. I also love the blue color and how well it matches my new mic - and for the price, how can you not get one! Even with that foam ball over the mic, I can't find any muting when speaking into it and playing backing vocals. On the other hand, the Audio-Technica ATR-30 professional unidirectional microphone has…

Wind noise. It is also sometimes used as a clown nose and is excellent for both purposes. I've had them for many years and I have to say I'm impressed that the foam is still in great shape and not falling apart. It does really well in the wind as a pro tool, but there are others that cost three to five times the price if you really need that level of wind protection. I've found that most people don't, and who wants to use those really, really expensive noses as clown noses?

Fits well but fragile in use, broke very quickly

I had high hopes for this foam umbrella. It was tested installed on the windshield of my Shure Beta 58A pod and it looked great but was difficult to install. I took it off again to put the mic back in the bag and stuffed the foam cover into the accessory area. Preparing for my next gig, I try to put the foam cover on my mic and it immediately rips from bottom to top. This has never happened with the OEM Shure Foam Case after about 20 uses, but the design is different. The On-Stage coating has a
