Disappointing Quality

I purchased this exhaust elbow for my automotive project and was extremely disappointed with the quality. It appeared to have been poorly constructed and did not fit correctly. The only positive thing I can say is that it was made from stainless steel, but unfortunately that did not make up for the subpar craftsmanship.

Pros
  • Made from stainless steel
Cons
  • Poor construction and fit

Tail pipe for bottlenecks

It's a pipe and it does what pipes do. If this is the right size for your application then I highly recommend it. If it's not the right size, I recommend you buy another one. I used it to replace a cheaper plastic header on my custom cold air intake on my beloved 85 Fiero GT simply because it looks better and lasts longer.

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Retrofittable

Not really a curved mandrel, not exactly 16ga.

The quality seems normal judging by the dimensions. Not great but okay. The third photo shows it's not 16ga as advertised. I deduct a star for that. The nominal thickness for 16ga is 0.063" and as you can see in the photo this material is 0.050" thick in some places. To be fair I went down to 0.060 in a few places. It's also possible that the metal finisher who polished them just overdid it a bit. The fourth picture shows the inside of the 2.5 inch piece. I cut the 304SS into an adapter crimp…

Pros
  • Exhaust Pipes and Tailpipes
Cons
  • Sad Equipment
