You get what you pay for

Looks good but can't tell if it's actually stainless steel. I thought stainless steel wasn't magnetic, but it definitely is magnetic. It's not the prettiest either. I think next time I'll spend a little more and get a well polished stainless steel version. There was no padding either. Not a problem as I've had one of the headgasket kits before, but it's something to watch out for.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Upgrades available

Good replacement option albeit not stainless steel

1992 model. 6 cyl. This is NOT stainless steel. They're aluminized tailpipes, so they're $90 instead of $300. The headers fit well, there are no assembly problems. The flange on them is 0.050 less than the stock flange, which isn't a problem either. Welds look good and neat. Downpipe easily connected. Time will tell if they are good value for money. I rarely give 5 stars but if they last more than 5 years I would consider it.

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Crumpled

Fits Slightly

Construction seems good but fits a bit. I had to slightly open up the end holes that go over the studs with a dremel tool. Also, the pipe coming out of the manifold didn't allow the gasket to fit (the included gasket or the one I had on the Jeep parts counter), I had to trim the edge with a dremel and tap the gasket with a hammer . After adjustment, the collector was installed and started up normally, there is no leakage. I would say the build quality is comparable to OEM for a fraction of the…

Although I gave 5 stars, some still work before the engine starts.

It looks well made and fits really well, but I have a screw that after hours of trying, I still haven't screwed it in. The bolts on my Jeep Cherokee XJ are HARD to get on some of them. Maybe it could be me and I'll have someone put it on an elevator where they can see what the problem is. I know it's not very strong if it's not at all. I'll update the review later but even if it's a little different I'm happy but just wish I could do all the work at once. These are the machines for you, they…

Good service and product

The manifold and its gasket were of high quality and fitted well, although the pipe fitted 1/8" to the engine mount on a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. I have a rattle somewhere in the exhaust system but couldn't identify where and most likely further down the pipe as it would shift to accommodate the new manifold. The round gasket that seals the header pipe to the rest of the exhaust pipe did not fit a new collector and ECCPP refunded the money. Amount for me to buy one locally I think they gave a good…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Perfect fit for my 1999 Jeep Wrangler 4.0!

Sturdy and well built, very satisfied, recommended, fast delivery. I read that some users said the collector is too short. At first I thought it was mine too. I had the intake and exhaust removed, so I loosely bolted them to the exhaust and then slipped them over the front and rear exhaust studs on my head. fits perfectly! However, I used a Felpro gasket and exhaust ring as the ring that came with it seemed too small. Aside from the exhaust donut, everything seemed to fit better and easier than

Seems decent. Here are some tips for shade trees

So far so good. I did quite a bit of research before buying, and the general consensus is that expensive distributors break just as often as cheap ones. I did the entire exhaust with a Magnaflow cat pipe and a Dyno-Max muffler. I'll mention a few things to help you: First, get your best gasket and some copper spray. I installed this in a '98 Jeep TJ and installing the lower side bolts was a PIA royalty! What worked for me was wrapping some tape around the 3/8 swivel and having a good selection…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes

  • No work
