Do-Not-Buy on my review.

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I quickly realized this product was a waste of money. The so-called "stainless" material easily rusted, and the design made it impossible to install the lanyard release.

Pros
  • Pro: None
Cons
  • Con: Poor material and faulty design

Helps prevent theft.

These quality cables were exactly what I was looking for and they were easy to install. I used them on the rear bumper end caps of my RV where the tanks drain hose is stored so I don't lose any more end caps.

Pros
  • Brackets
Cons
  • Legacy

Crimped onto plastic - not strong enough

As mentioned the wire is plastic coated which is nice but the crimp was placed directly onto the plastic. It took very little force to break. You should strip the plastic at the crimp point.

Pros
  • pins
Cons
  • unreliable
