The screws were the size I ordered. I rated them average because they are quite soft. I used nylon nuts to prevent back out and the bolt threads broke off on the second and third bolts when the nylon ring caught. The bolts had to be cut and discarded. I then skipped the nuts before using which reduced the effectiveness of the nuts but managed to complete the project.

The luthier who fitted the Warmoth neck to the body recommended using #8-32 mounting screw bits instead of standard wood screws. He was right, but after a few turns the Phillips head screws he was using started to slip a bit and looked frayed. These are fantastic replacement products. The ideal length and stronger sockets prevent the screwdriver from slipping when tightening the neck after maintenance.
