High Precision Stainless Pressure Gauge for Compressor Hydraulic Testing and Inspection Review

Bought this to replace one that only lasted three weeks. I was expecting that a sand filter that only runs at 10-15 psi wouldn't require fancy dosing. But now I have it, I'm glad I spent a few more bucks. This product is clearly of excellent quality and I see no need to alter it before planting in the ground. The glycerin in the movement provides an ultra-smooth readout and a confidence in reading that is definitely much higher than others. Highly recommended.

I have been using this as a pool filter gauge and from the description I thought it would be my last gauge purchase. Temperatures of -30F are very cold and, believe it or not, colder than Minneapolis. Bought June 2020. Closed for the pool in winter. The pool will open in Spring 2021 and the new zero is 40psi. The pressure gauge does not correspond to the specified operating temperatures. A 90-day guarantee isn't much. Other observations: no external corrosion visible after 1 year of operation…

I installed this on a Lows inflator which is similar to a Campbell Hausfeld MP6000 Gauge Tire Inflator. Like the Amazon product, these inflators come with inaccurate gauges that have 5 small divisions between 10 pounds. pressure, and the 0-30lb range occupies only 1/6 of the dial. I wanted something that was not only more accurate, but overall much easier to read. Removing the old sensor was a pain because it was obviously glued on, but once it was on it was a dream come true.
