🔍 12-inch Boil Screen with 1/2-inch NPT Fitting: Efficient Filtering Solution Review

I used this in a brew kettle and with 1.5 ounces of hop pellets it clogged right away. flow with a pump at 2 gallons per hour (I know this because I sat there for an hour and collected 2 gallons). It was real agony. The picture shows the flow rate after I disconnected the pump and scratched the strainer; Note that the valve is wide open. I bought this bazooka because I was too cheap to buy a double bottom for 4 times the price and I have no regrets at all. Essentially it's a good product. If it's too shallow the flow rate stinks but if it's too much it has got a decent mesh size here and really caught hobs/trub/whatever was in the wort but it was too good because I had good flow about thirty seconds before it did I had to sanitize the long handled spoon and clean the bazooka to keep the flow rate But it still worked well enough on it for filtering by fights.l must.
