Description of Stainless Steel Bulkhead Fitting With 1/2" Hose Barb For Easy Plumbing Installations

Made of high quality stainless steel, corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Bulkhead union coupling for connecting two hoses with the same diameter in a straight run. Temperatures range from -40 to 160 F. The mini-barb ends are push-to-connect and do not require hose clamps. The joint of two openings are two thick hexagons that form bulkhead tank function.

Chinese garbage - my new review

The barbs themselves are very short, and if that was the only issue may not be a problem. 3/8 barb with brand new 3/8 hose took no effort what so ever to put on. While using a worm camp no amount of tightening would keep the hose from slipping and pulling off. Too short and the barbs are rounded. I can put the 3/8 hose on an old 5/16 barb and tighten without issue. I tightened using different clamps, both to the point of cutting into the hose and it still pulled off without much effort. I would

Great for venting a gas tank.

Needed to vent gas fumes from a vented gas tank to the out side of the car , these guys worked perfect. Well made solid little performer.

Pros
  • Strong, durable fitting. Hose fits and stays attached without clamp.
Cons
  • There is no seal-flange on the recieved bulkheads. There is no way to place a seal. Useless for us.
