So these shovels are about the length of your pinky and about 1/4-1/3 the width. You cannot pick up grass in any way. Powder only. I've been looking for a good herb scoop but this isn't it.

I didn't expect the product to be so small that dry herbs can hardly fit in the spoon. So I had to buy a scraper from Kiefer, it's stainless steel, it's stronger and it can hold more. You'll have to do your G00GLES to find it, but it's worth it! :)

This was a cheap purchase I made just to get the dried herbs I'm grinding easily out of a small sealed container the size of a D battery lot scooping dry herb from my narrow container, and does the job well. Nothing fancy but a cheap product that meets my needs where a standard spoon is unable to do the job.

DO NOT expose to direct heat. The material seemed brittle to me so I heated one of them very slowly with a blowtorch and sure enough it exploded in less than a second, spraying hot goo everywhere. They're probably made out of some sort of aluminum alloy. I wouldn't trust them with anything you're going to ingest as the material is cheap and can wear out with what you scoop.
