Very useful - great product

I no longer have to worry about my mother-in-law slipping down the stairs. Oh yes, that happened more than once and I felt terrible. Our dog also had a few snap calls (especially when he felt something good downstairs ;) This is a great product. Simple and easy to install. Thanks very much!

Good product for slippery stairs

I used them on the wide wooden staircase on my north terrace. I had to cross two but they look good. Since all the stairs were painted the same color, it was very helpful to understand where to step. They were easy to install and are holding up very well after two heavy snowfalls and my shoveling. I think they make it less slippery.

Well they are doing their job that's for sure. Your time. One tip I would recommend is to "roll" the surface with something like an ink roller etc after application. I think that helped a lot instead of trying to rub them or keep walking over them.

So far so good, but will they last?

The problem with this is that moisture can get under the steps and loosen them, even if the surface is glued. In fact, you'll probably need to use a higher quality glue to attach them. But if you do, they will keep going. This is especially important on wooden stairs where dirt can accumulate and then become wet and slippery. A wooden staircase outdoors without such steps can be very treacherous in bad weather.

Very happy with this purchase - just what I needed for slippery outdoor steps

I have a very pretty and rustic sill garden step but moss started to grow on it and I really slipped and fell! then a year was afraid to go down the stairs. I've tried bleaching and stacking them to kill the moss but to no avail. So I bought them, my technician installed them (glue plus flat head roofing nails for extra security) and I'm so happy I can walk up and down stairs without fear. Thank you! Note that these are fairly wide steps, so there were two steps for each step.

Meets Task: Building Materials

I purchased the rails in January 2020 after falling off a porch ladder on a very cold morning. Delivered on time, unpacking was easy. I would also like to say that the installation went well. My only issue is that after a month a couple of them are sagging, they are no longer flush with the step. I'm not sure why or if I can share them. But I want to try. Overall, I'm happy with this product and I'm no longer afraid of falling. They are absolutely non-slip and my dog goes up and down stairs…
