It fit my 1/4" bar, but I didn't see how it could be used if I needed to install it on a 5/16" bar. Got this to replace a long one that was sticking out too much. This is the perfect size as my valve is right in the wall. The bronze color matches the color of the campfire block, although chrome versions will also look good. It is made of metal and is very durable.
