Description of 🔧 Optimized Manifold Pressure Transformer 6840 2J03 B224

This pump kit includes Aquatec pump 6840-2J03-B224 with heavy duty steel base plate with damper, PSW-240 pressure switch, transformer 110V USA plug, 1/4" inlet/outlet for pump and pressure switch, detail instruction. This pump is designed to increase the water supply pressure to a RO water system. Increase input pressure from 30-40 psi to 60-80 psi depending on the capacity of your RO system. This pump is good for under 100 GPD (gallons per day) RO systems Most home drinking RO systems are under 100 GPD. Automatic ON/OFF operation. The pressure switch would sense the pressure in the output line, so when the output line is shut off or the storage tank is full or reaches 40-50 psi, the pump would shut off, and then when you start using water and tank pressure drops, then the pump turns back ON to replenish the tank. This kit DOES NOT come with the optional (ESO) Electric-Shut-Off solenoid valve, so it would reply on your existing mechanical auto-shut-off valve in your RO system to turn off the water supply when the tank is full. For most systems this kit will work fine. This kit is NOT for misting, ice maker line, line boosting, water transfer. This pump kit is designed for increasing water supply pressure to a RO water system

Below 60 psi just buy it

Works as described I have a 100 gallon/day Ro/Di system from Express Water plus a home made water saver kit with a 150 gallon/day membrane and I can keep my head open at 60 psi (filling a 32 gallon tank for an aquatic aquarium) or 65-70 psi when filling a 4 gallon storage tank. With just a 100 gpd cone, it handles about 75 psi. My incoming well is 30-40psi depending on the time of day. Before installing the booster pump, it took 3 hours to produce 1.5 gallons of water with a tds of 5 ppm even…

A must have if your reverse osmosis system is slow!

This is amazing! I have an Ispring reverse osmosis system under my sink that connects to a 3 gallon tank for my fridge/ice maker, but I also use it to make water for my reef tank. After the move, my RO system was very slow due to the low pressure on the hill. This pump is now pumping water quickly through my system as it should. The pump is placed between the supply line and the reverse osmosis system. If you have a reverse osmosis system for your fridge, your storage tank should be…

Feel free to upgrade your reverse osmosis system!

This pump very quietly increases the pressure to my reverse osmosis system from about 40psi to 90psi at the maximum setting. I considered the 8800 but read a few reviews saying it was loud. The 6800 is very quiet - I have to put my hand on it to feel it work. I mounted it on the wall in my basement, but I imagine if it was under your sink you wouldn't hear it. Higher pressure increases the amount of water I can produce from a few gallons per day. clearly exceeds the rating of 75 on the Filmtec…

Quality reverse osmosis pump but vibration goes through

This pump is heavily overloaded to pressurize the inlet to my iSpring 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Filter. It's built like a tank and I'm sure it will last for many years. This increases the pressure on my filter from the 40psi limit coming off my well to a more reasonable 80psi. This reduces the time it takes to refill the reservoir when using water and also improves filtration efficiency (less waste water per gallon of filtered water). A pressure switch shuts off the pump precisely when the…

This is amazing! I have an Ispring reverse osmosis system under my sink that connects to a 3 gallon tank for my fridge/ice maker, but I also use it to make water for my reef tank. The osmosis was very good slow because of the low pressure because I'm on a hill this pump is now pushing water through my system quickly as it should. The pump is placed between the supply line and the reverse osmosis system.should have enough pressure for average use. Basically, this pump will fill your storage tank…

Significantly Improve Reverse Osmosis Efficiency

Unless you have high inlet water pressure (>60 psi), you need this pump. I also recommend purchasing a solenoid valve (ASIN B007XVEDFW) to replace the hydraulic auto shut off that comes with most reverse osmosis systems. This way you know that both the pump and the water supply start and stop at the same time. There is nothing against an Aquatec permeate pump. You will be amazed by the speed and efficiency (low waste water) of this combination. The best place for a booster pump is just…

Pros
  • This kit is NOT for defog, ice machine line, line speed increase, water transfer. This pump kit is designed to increase the pressure of the reverse osmosis system water supply.

Good quality reverse osmosis pump but the vibration is gone

This pump is too overloaded to increase the inlet pressure in my iSpring 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Filter.

Pros
  • Auto on/off. The pressure switch senses the pressure in the outlet line so when the outlet line closes or the storage tank is full or reaches 40-50psi the pump will turn off and then when you start using water and the pressure in the tank will drop. , then the pump is turned on again to fill the tank.
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
