This fitted the 2004 Forester XS exactly. Finally fixed my fueling issue which was causing the pump to run every few seconds while fueling. Going fine now. My old original OEM canister ripped out its carbon casings and clogged everything.

Looks like an exact match to the original that was in my 2001 Forester S. If you are having trouble refilling, replace this canister and the vent, which is higher and closer to the back of the reservoir. Then never fill up again. 😁
