This coil was a replacement for the original Z28 93. It had all the parts needed for a Camaro and a Firebird (same car anyway). Just installed and the car now runs great.

The standard motor has always produced excellent electronic products. In this case, no bracket was included. The original spool has a riveted mount and cannot be reused unless drilled or ground. I'll go back to find one that already has a mount.

Performance is a big difference from my original but I didn't notice that a mounting bracket was missing. I had to cut the rivets off the original and attach a new one. New screws were in stock which is very nice. Very happy with the exact plugin.

SAVE THE OLD MOUNTS! I had to grind rivets out of the old one's mounts and use them in the replacement. It would have been agony if I didn't have an angle grinder, a drill and a few other bits and pieces. Installed on an '89 Chevy G-20 with a 5.7L 350. Works great. Everything I expected except the bracket issue.

I had a fault (no check engine light) when the car came up to operating temperature with easy acceleration (45-55 mph) and WOT around 75 mph and I replaced everything (Optispark, spark plugs and wires, all sensors, A&B shift solenoids, transmission oil and filter, throttle body, O² sensors, alternator) except ignition coil.
