🔧 Enhanced Standard Motor Products EGV468T EGR Valve Review

This emissions valve is one of the best ones that I have found for my car. It fits perfectly and makes a noticeable difference in my car's performance. The installation was easy and straightforward, and the product seems durable and well-made. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but the quality is worth the extra cost.

The valve worked fine at first, then code P1406 came up and the check engine light came on. I ran several tests including the ECM and figured it couldn't be a faulty EGR valve since it's brand new. Everything checked out fine. I ended up checking the valve myself, I even used a 9 volt battery to see the pin move and it didn't move. Thank you Revain for an awful product that I can't even return because your return policy for such a product is inappropriate.

I should have listened to other reviews. Installed on a vehicle with known EGR issues. I assumed most of the others who bought this had their intake passages clogged and that's why the CEL kept coming back. It's not relevant. The intake of this 3.1 was meticulously cleaned and when the EGR was manually actuated with the snap on diagnostic tool this valve did not run as it should. The General Motors OEM part was purchased and installed and the codes were immediately cleared and never reappeared.
