So far so good Fits perfect and comes with a new gasket

Everything fits perfectly so far and comes with a new gasket. After I cleared my EGR channel the problem was completely resolved, there was no check engine light. At idle the car runs fine. It literally took me 5 minutes to swap them out. My car stalled due to a faulty ignition switch, which I also replaced at the same time. I have a 1999 Honda Accord.

Pros
  • Exhaust and Emissions
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Working great price for exhaust and emissions

P1491 got rid of. Weird because I tried changing it a few months ago when I had a P0401 code, but it was a clogged EGR port. Then I got P1491, which points to the valve itself. MIL off, no pending codes. Is working! Cheaper than buying Autozone with a coupon code. Installation is as easy as it gets. A seal is a seal. Gets a pressure. What else do you need?

Pros
  • Parts
Cons
  • Very expensive

Terrible pad. Best spare parts

Time will tell if the seal stays tight. It doesn't match the valve base. When aligned with the mounting screw holes, it provides a seal of just a few millimeters of material along the edge to the outside of the outlet (see square hole in photos). I hope that the part itself is of better quality than the gasket. I have yet to install it. I can send it back before installation to be on the safe side.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
