Fixed a gas leak in my friend's aunt's car.

So far so good. Replaces the regulator that had a pressure relief screw on top. It was a terrible design. Gasoline is pouring all over my friend's aunt's car right onto the exhaust manifold. This product could not be found anywhere else, but it solves this problem perfectly. Many Thanks

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other kits

Longer than standard for SC400

Slightly longer than standard and the supplied aluminum sealing washers are thinner. I didn't think it would make a difference, but it bottomed out in my 95 SC400's fuel rail and ran out of fuel. It only works for a few seconds. Then I put thicker copper washers on top and suddenly it works like a top. It took a week to find out.

Pros
  • Optimal
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Not suitable. in Pressure Reducers & Accessories

It was supposed to fit my SC400, but it looks like the threads have come loose a bit. I tried to put it on for a while but it didn't fit and ended up falling in my engine bay and I had to fish it out with a magnetic clasp. Sent it back and got $6 shipping back plus another $3 for some sort of restocking fee. In general I don't know. I have a '94 so it might fit newer models that are properly threaded or something.

Get ready to refill

This is listed as a replacement for the Toyota Land Cruiser 3-FE 88-92, which it 'sort of' is. It is the same size and shape as OEM Denso but the threads are very poor. I couldn't screw it into the fuel rail, I ended up having to chase the threads and basically over-tighten it. After that, knitting was quite difficult, but finally succeeded. This works, but turns a 30 minute job into a 2 hour job.

  • Certified
Cons
  • Nothing here

Fits 2001 Toyota Avalon with no thread stripping required

I don't know if the manufacturers improved on this part or if other reviewer's cars were just not suitable models, but older 2000 Toyota threads needn't be hunted down. The new part is slightly longer from the screw shoulder to the end of the dome, but this is not critical. The old plastic cap doesn't fit, but I don't think it really does anything other than protect the part while the car is being assembled. The part fits snugly in critical areas. There is no "adjustment" screw, which was just…

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Obsolete model
