Installed this on my 2008 335xi and ended up at a gas station and had to be towed. The store installed an OEM sensor and everything worked like clockwork. Simply choose OEM and save yourself the purchase of defective hardware.

Works like a charm. Tried to be cheap when I first bought one on ebay for 20.00 and the car barely started and immediately went into limp mode. So for the price, and the cheaper price at the dealer, it's clearly a hit for the dollar.

The part fitted perfectly and was about 25% cheaper than the dealer. It's been two weeks since the installation and my machine is running fine, only time will tell if the quality is good or not. Would recommend to a friend. Update: 3 months have passed, the sensor works fine. After installation, the device did not return to "idle mode".

It was supposed to fit a 2007 BMW X3 but the wiring harness did not fit because the tab inside the sensor was not in the right place for the notch in the wiring harness. The part will not work and I will be returning this product. I don't know if they sent me the wrong part as Advance Auto offers the exact same brand as Intermotor and not only does it look different but it had a completely different part number on the box.

i take it from a bmw dealer. look on the internet. Just to see if anyone knows or has had this problem with their .bmw 335, I found out that this was the reason the car put the car into emergency mode. I bought it. and replaced.
