🔌 Enhanced Performance RU353 Blower Motor Resistor by Standard Motor Products Review

1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. The fan only ran at maximum. Found a YouTube video (Jeep Wrangler 2000 Blower Motor Resistor) turned out to be a very easy replacement. The fan motor cover is located under the glove box. I loosened four 8mm screws to remove the cover. I removed 2 8mm screws to remove the old connector which was replaced with a new connector. Replacing the fan motor cover, total time about 15 min. And it works!

1997 TJ Installation. Remove the passenger side kick strip (small plate, four screws. Remove two screws, blow out the hole with compressed air, replace with a new part. Done! Work at 200.00 in 20 minutes with a part at 10.00 AM.. I love my TJ! Also, do not use low to medium fan settings with the heater on as the heat can damage the part. If you use the MAX fan setting the design circuit goes to your battery.

Received quickly in plain packaging. Looks exactly as advertised. Replaced my old BMR with a 2000 XJ in under 20 minutes. Running board and glove compartment removed on the passenger side. I had to loosen about 6 screws. Quite easy. Disconnect the old resistor (2 screws to remove the resistor from the mounting point) then connect the new one. The old one was pretty bad. This replacement looked like the old one but new. This resistor works great! If this doesn't work in the long run, I'll update
