🚦 Enhanced Stoplight Switch - Standard Motor Products SLS208 Review

This switch works as expected. But that didn't save me from sticking brake lights. I have a pedal return issue so I can't blame the derailleur.

I had to buy another one because the first one stopped working after 39 days. Right in front of the return window. Let's see how long the next one lasts.

This was a direct replacement for my 1998 Jeep Wrangler. Very easy to change and great price! My brake lights stayed on before and that fixed the problem.

I haven't installed any of these yet. The ratchet switch is tricky. The shift travel is very small, so be careful. Ultimately, I think my problem was a worn connection rather than a bad switch. My original switch lasted 27 years. Read the instructions.

Quick and simple solution to my "traffic lights" problem. There is a white plastic switch under the dashboard at the top of the brake pedal. Take it, twist it a little to the right and pull it out. Unplug the cable and reverse the process. Takes about 45 seconds. nope!

Switch bracket broke during installation. After careful review of the accompanying documentation, the instructions state that the part is for a one-time installation and that removing the part will cause it to break. For another $5 I found one with a lifetime warranty.
