I liked that it was a 15 minute solution to my brake light problems. It's only been installed for a few months and only time will tell if it will hold up to constant use, but for now it's working as advertised.

It's almost as easy as detaching and attaching. Disconnect the old one, slide it in and out, then insert the new one, slide it back in and replace the clip. Voila, new working brake light switch. It looks and performs like an original part, but costs about ½ less.

Bought for my 1995 Ford Ranger. My brake lights came on when I first pressed the pedal but then went out when the foot pressure released even slightly. Needless to say, this is quite annoying and unsafe! I bought it after checking prices at local auto parts stores and other online stores.
