Disappointing performance, waste of money

As a result of using this chisel, I found that the blade dulls quickly and struggles to maintain a sharp edge .Despite the sturdy handle, the chisel just doesn't live up to the quality I was expecting from an industrial hand tool..

Terrible even for a carpenter's chisel

I didn't buy this to make nice furniture, I got it for its intended use as a carpenter's chisel. Even in this role, the thing sucks. The edge, which I didn't expect to be "sharp", turned out to be slightly chipped. The back end was not flat at all and one corner on the edge had a fairly deep indentation. As a personal challenge, I went to work sharpening this chisel to a furniture maker's level, but gave up. The back needed so much work that I finally said "that's enough" and gave up. The steel
