Bought for home use.

I bought this for DIY home projects. It's cooler than I thought, but I see myself putting industrial glue on the handle again in the not too distant future. The rest is a solid hammer!

awesome hammer best claw hammer

I was looking for a hammer similar to Tyreese from TWD. I can't determine the make and model. It's probably just a prop for the show. It's definitely great for dismantling pallets. Update 10/21/14 - I love this hammer, I currently work in a warehouse and people, even when told not to, leave behind furniture they no longer need and this hammer smashes and tears everything Part. Would give 6 stars if I could!

  • hands free

I prefer Vaughn "California Framer " hammers.

I just didn't like this thing, although the tougher fighters might like it. !The hickory handle absorbs shock well. However, this thing is more difficult to handle and doesn't feel as comfortable. It's MUCH shorter than the California Framer, of course. - I shrug - I gave mine, preferring Vaughn. Hope that helps. Greetings, Namasté and Kaizen!( :

Nice addition to my tool arsenal

I had a small space in the garage that needed to be converted into a laundry room so I decided to take this little man. I usually use a nail hammer, but for a small project like this I decided to give this hammer a try. He swings very well and hammers 16 like a champ. Honestly it's not that hard on hand. The grip is pretty good, but I've found it to wear out with prolonged use, but for my purposes it's a good tool to have in my arsenal.

Pros
  • Nice to use

Good Hammer! on Hammers

As a site manager I must have at least 6 nail hammers. That is my favourite! I like the medium sized handle for both driving nails in and pulling them out. I was also looking for a handle that isn't wooden as they can break, but at the same time the handle needs to have some kind of shock absorbing properties like this one says. I wanted a smooth headed skeleton hammer which is hard to find in large sizes. Once you see what the waffle head can do with your fingers you'll understand, and I don't

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Expensive

Those are great hammers. I like Stanley's anti-vibration frame system.

These are excellent hammers. I love Stanley's anti-vibration hammer crafting system and this will be the only type of hammer. Hit nails and wood all day, they can take a beating, they last forever, just keep them away from water, spray some WD-40 on them, keep rust to a minimum. I believe it will work better for those who have more practice with it, this hammer is a great Stanley product, everything you would expect from a Stanley.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Secret

Sexy hammer 4 wrists of my carpal tunnel!

Worked professionally with timbered houses for about a year. I developed carpal tunnel in my right wrist while rocking the mini sled while laying the hardwood floor. Now I make my own hands and sometimes I earn extra money. I bought this sexy 28oz hammer from Amazon after seeing a lighter one in the store. I recently used it to frame two walls and build shelves that are 12 feet long and about 8 feet high. This hammer hammered every nail with ease and I had no pain in my wrist or hand! I don't…

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not satisfied with everything
