Waste of Money - Poor Quality

Industrial and Scientific rivets that were an utter disappointment. After I put it to the test, I found that they were not durable at all, snapping far too easily. One could be excused for thinking they were made of plastic. The only pros were that they were easy to install and that they were cheap, but in this case, cheap wasn't a good thing. I advise instead buying steel rivets, even if they cost a bit more.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • May require a special tool for installation

Rivet analysis included

Mmmm. rivets. Are you a rivet connoisseur? If yes, then this is a must! Not a fan of rivets? Get them anyway - they're perfect. Drill a few holes in the sheet metal, then gosh, gosh, they're riveted together. That's it folks. get on with your life

Pros
  • Industry and Science
Cons
  • Slightly cracked

Wrong size?

I bought them 3 times. the last 2 times i got 5/32" x 1/4" instead of 1/8" x 1/2". I no longer need 5/32 inch rivets. The part numbers on the plastic bags are correct (B000BQUQQQ Stanley Paa48-1B aluminum rivets), well it's the same as "Paa48-1B" above, but the rivets are the wrong size. Otherwise they are great!

Pros
  • Fasteners
Cons
  • Very expensive
