Measuring tapes work well

Accuracy wise I haven't done carpentry to evaluate accuracy but I usually use the same tape measure to measure size and then the wood to be cut to get a constant to ensure cutting length. The stationery knife is a bit cheap, but that's not why we bought it.

  • Linear measurements
Cons
  • High price

Great tools. for linear measurements

I still prefer Stanley's "metal" tapes to the plastic tapes which can be too bulky. They just feel comfortable and true to size and the quality has always been good. For a long time I carried it around in my tool bag thinking it would come without blades but when I went to install the blade I actually found it in the handle so be careful. happy with the purchase.

If you are satisfied with the quality of the plastic junk, it is obvious that they are making this fake using the…
