🔥 OE Type Thermostat by Stant, made from durable stainless steel Review

Replaced my civilian car engine with the original engine. Big mistake if you live in Minnesota. 195 is what you need if you like the heat.

My old thermostat was open so my car never got warm in winter, the temp gauge was always on C. This fixed the problem. The heater is now nice and warm. Now the machine works stably at 195-200 degrees. Great price, great performance.

I understand the original thermostat must have been faulty but this 192 degree thermostat made the warmth of this 28 year old Accord ideal for this winter. I suspect the heating system (core) may not be as efficient as when new, but the extra 12 degrees seems to make up for any limitations.

Perfect for my 2001 Honda Civic. Also bought an original Victor Reinz MAHLE C31849 engine coolant thermostat gasket. The replacement took 10 minutes, but after that, don't forget to "burp" the system to remove air from the system. Installed a month ago, no problems so far.

B20V picked up for assembly. Fits perfectly. I'll let you know when I start the engine. Also give 4/5 stars because the seal is not included. Update: I've been trying to bleed my cooling system for a few hours and the thermostat wouldn't open. Went back to my old thermostat and it opened with no problem. I would advise giving up this brand.
