🧶 Efficient Yarn Counter Meterage/Yardage Meter by Stanwood Needlecraft Review

This is a purchase I am completely satisfied with. The knitter almost always has yarn left over from a project, but you never know how much. I can now measure any remaining yarn which makes it easier to use.

It's nice to finally know if there's enough footage for the project. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner. It's very easy to use and I like that it's made of wood and not mechanical.

I hook this up to my yarn winder and get the footage as I process the yarn into a beautiful cake. I was amazed at how much more and how much less yarn I get out of the skeins I buy. It really helps to know exactly how much yarn to work with when planning a project. I highly recommend!

A valuable helper for me when evaluating leftovers and unknown lengths of "new" yarn. Note that I said "estimate". I bought this tool because I knew accuracy wouldn't be possible due to tension differences (like the bobbin winder, as well as the person holding the yarn). On that note, I'm so thankful that I can FINALLY have a (really) - a pretty accurate idea of what I need to work with. I would buy again and recommend.
