Perfect fit for XLR/mic cable

These beads are PERFECT for reducing noise and interference that my mics sometimes pick up. I don't go into the field without gear.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Some blemishes

For the price it's just ok

These are not heavy devices that come with your devices, they are light weight and work well. I still have noise from my speakers because something is broken in my amplifier.

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

I'm not sure what the mix is and they did.

I don't know what the mix is and they didn't solve the radio interference I had at 10 meters. Please note that they are half the length of most other brands (so you will need twice as much). I will keep them for other uses.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • There are nuances

Excellent at eliminating static electricity

They did an excellent job of eliminating annoying static electricity that was appearing every time my cellphone was near the desktop speakers. No problem anymore! I snapped them onto the wires right at the base of the speaker as shown in the YouTube video.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some bugs

Easy to install once opened

These ferrite core filters are not easy to open as the locking tabs are supplied locked. It takes a tiny screwdriver to pry one of these off and use your fingernail to hold it open exposing the other side. Once placed, click to close.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Some difficulties

They work as advertised.

He does what he has to do. This eliminated the hum from my headphone line as well as the line to my computer. I didn't have to use anything special to open or securely close the filter. He did everything with his own hands. Click when you close them completely. They will not slip when forced. They look solid.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • There's nothing here

Great price great product

I have a police handheld scanner that requires a line filter when plugged into my car's USB port due to signal loss due to noise. Cables with embedded ferrite cores are either expensive or bulky. I bought these to use my existing cable. I didn't want 10 packs but the price was so low I bought them. Torch, FPV goggles, drone and power supplies for my Raspberry Pi. Approx. 80 cents each additional protection against possible noise.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak

I was experiencing lots of static/humming noise from my PC speakers, especially when using 3D applications. I found that my onboard audio was picking up interference from my graphics card, so the static noise tripled when running something graphics-intensive. Adding it to my audio cable reduced the noise drastically. It didn't completely eliminate the hiss (I really have to crank the volume up to still hear a slight buzz), but there's no buzz from 0-70% of the master volume. I usually listen…

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • No power

Check measurements before ordering.

A little background: I'm a radio amateur, often running 35-100 watts from my office. This sends enough interfering radio frequencies into adjacent computer cables that without the ferrite beads on either end of the links, the Caps Lock LED will light up and shut down or interfere with various peripherals during transmission. (My 27-inch aluminum iMac is inherently very well insulated.) I ordered these ferrite rings because they were advertised for USB cables. I had to think more about their 3mm

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure
