Starfrit The Rock 10-Piece Cookware Set with Stainless Steel Handles 060319-001-0000 Review

I really like this set. Easy to clean and so far so good. But as other people have mentioned, it was dented. The big pot had a pretty good dent in the bottom. For us it doesn't really matter because we use gas, but I can see that it will be a problem for those who use an electric stove with a glass lid. The dent prevents the pot from lying completely flat on the surface.

This cookware received a Best Buy award from Consumer Reports. Nowhere in Revain's description does it say it shouldn't be used in high heat. Consumer Reports didn't mention it either. Insincere, to say the least. How can you have a cookware that cannot be used on high heat? what happened to it Not 3 stars for that with 1 star for durability.

So far I like this set. Bakes evenly and is easy to clean. I also ordered a personal size skillet/frying pan, but it's so small you can only fry one egg in it at a time. I wish they had a different pan size. I bought this set to replace the Rachel Ray anodized pans due to the finishes peeling. This set of pots and pans was a lot cheaper and I think it will last longer. The time will show.

Just when you're ready to downplay anything made in China, a superior product shines in front of you. Congratulations to STARFRIT. The set arrived in perfect condition, superbly packaged (crates in the box and enough plastic bags to cover my living room) and just in time to replace another set (also made in China) which was a disappointment. I highly recommend this company's product Line Rock, Pots, Pans and Knives.

Review update: We have been using this pot and pan set for a year now. They are still 100% perfect. It cooks well and evenly, heats up quickly and is easy to clean in the dishwasher. The family asked about use of it. This is the longest set of dishes I've ever had. I'm glad I finally got something of good quality. ---------- I like it. I received the frying pan on site as a replacement. I fell in love with them and have now replaced all my pots and pans with this set. They are easy to clean.

The pans in this set are very different from the StarFrit pans which I bought separately and which are shown in the photos. Disappointed with the artificial base of the pan and confirmed by the care instructions on the packaging warning that the stove should be kept on a medium temperature range! These pans may be suitable for those using them for a limited range of cooking, but not for everyday high heat cooking on both gas and electric ranges. In the photo my previously purchased pans…
