Accurate Measurements with Precision Tool

This is a must-have tool for anyone in the industrial and scientific field. Based on our own experience, this product is extremely precise and provides accurate measurements. We were impressed with its durability and sturdiness during use .However, the price tag may be a bit high for those on a tight budget. Overall we highly recommend this precision tool for calibration purposes..

the packaging was in perfect condition but there were nicks after unpacking.

Mine arrived damaged, packaging was in perfect condition, but after unpacking there were nicks in the metal that could be felt with a fingernail on the measuring face. I suspect QA At Starrett missed this which is very disappointing given the cost of this product. Also for the sake of publicity, both ends of this standard are rounded, measuring only 1,000 inches down the center of the standard. If the dipstick is not perfectly centered with the micrometer, you will get a reading as low as…
