This cable is used to connect a USB B device to a USB 3.0 device. The cable is 15 feet long, giving you enough length and flexibility. They say there is no signal loss even though it's 15 feet and I don't notice them. I don't have a meter to make sure this is correct, but there doesn't seem to be any lag. All in all, a great cable if you need to connect a USB-B port to something that uses USB 3.0.

Star Tech makes these cables in a variety of lengths. It's 15 feet and I'm sure I could say more. Basically, it just suits my needs. I'm not expert enough to get into the jargon. However, someone I trust assures me that this is a good buy.

StarTech makes these cables available in a variety of lengths. This is a 15" model. At the current price of just over seventy dollars it certainly isn't cheap and maybe there would be less variety of extension cords...but...for a cord this is a good option. You save also a lot if you can use a usb 2 cable but then you don't get the same speed it works for me to tie things up in my office.

This is a 15 foot USB 3.0 cable with a standard USB 3.0 standard A connector on one end and a USB connector. 3.0 standard B with a different connector. Please note that USB 3.0 standard B plugs will NOT mate with USB B sockets that do not support the 3.0 standard. This 15-foot Startech USB 3.0 USB-A to USB-B cable is a great option when you need to connect devices that aren't nearby . The cable is well made and thick. I haven't encountered any connection issues or speed issues when connected to this cable. Everything worked correctly. Startech makes great cables and this one is no different.
