Good, high-capacity KVM

This model is a good option when you need a high-capacity KVM in a single-height form factor. It comes with cables so finding the right type is not a problem. Installation is as simple as operation.

Better to use it on a table than in any rack configuration I've seen.

It took me a month to assemble all the missing parts to get it working. and they don't have Rapid Rail construction, which means you either have them on hand or, as in my case, order them and wait for them to arrive. B - Ears to mount this on a stand only. fasten with buttons on the side of the switch. With a 4 foot deep rack, that means I have to go more than 3 feet into the rack just to connect cables. In a dense server rack, I don't have room to leave a 4U of space to put my hands in to…

Another quality product from StarTech

This 16 port KVM switch was much more secure as it recently helped my team set up 45U servers. Auto-discovery gives priority to the host/server that last connected to the network. The only downside might be the fact that it's USB 2.0 + VGA and not USB 3.0/3.1 + DVI, which is irrelevant to my server configuration needs.
