Doesn't even hold close to 20 pounds. That .

Not even holding close to 20 pounds. It's ridiculous, absolutely commendable. I have a monitor that weighs exactly 19 pounds, I weighed it then had to get a hammer to tighten the wall mount and even that didn't stop the sink.

Well done. Please note that the TV does not cover the bracket when removed.

Well designed - much better and more effective than a bottom end bracket for placing a TV and holding it at different angles. It's solid and sturdy with just the right amount of customization. Easy to install and hides cables well. A few aesthetic considerations: the mount's outer material is glossy plastic, so it goes well with a similarly bezel-like TV, but it may stand out more than you'd like if you have a more matte screen finish. Also note that a fully retracted TV will not completelyโ€ฆ

Flexible, well-made monitor mount

I must have looked at a dozen TV and monitor mounts! This is a good option for several reasons. The hand is mostly assembled. Simply screw it into the VESA compatible holes on your monitor (many don't have one, so make sure you have them) after screwing the mount to the wall first. It comes with wall anchors, but don't get me wrong: it's quite a heavy arm adding a heavy monitor. I suggest finding something solid to glue it in. A cable tie is included to neatly route cables away from theโ€ฆ

I like the looks of the Ergatron more, but it works just as well.

Ergatron used to be the only monitor mount worth buying. Then 3M came out with some not so good but pretty good ones. Now it seems like even when it comes to Revain Basics monitors, we have a lot to choose from. I wanted to try Startech to compare to the Ergatron LX wall mount. It's pretty good, but I still prefer the Ergatron. For professionals, this is mostly assembled and therefore easier to install than the Ergatron. Also, it's almost $50 cheaper than the Ergatron (but I've seen theโ€ฆ
