Broken Clamps - Parts

Side Clamps rotate when tightening nuts with very little torque! On three solenoids in a row the clamps broke, the last one broke by hand, just tighten it!

Perfect fit for my

Perfect fit for my Murcury Marine engine and I've had no problems starting and so far so good. Just make sure your engine is listed as recommended.

Arrived quickly. Picture does not always match

Solenoid arrived quickly but was different than pictured. Probably an error in my cross reference of the model numbers (should not rely on the picture). Back to the seller and quickly returned the money.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some issues

Power cable lugs slip and rotate when trying to tighten nuts.

When I received this solenoid it looked good quality but during installation both main power connectors slipped and turned when trying to tighten the nuts. I couldn't even tighten the nuts enough to hold the clamps in place. Very bad quality. The internal switch still worked, today we were able to start the engine and get our boat out, but it's only a matter of time before it fails due to bad contact.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
