The dress is made of cotton, but it is a very thin cotton. That makes it perfect for very hot weather. I ordered the blue and white dress in an XL. I would have preferred one more button hole in order to adjust it better to size. Other than that, it fit perfectly, although it is a bit long; I might need to get it hemmed. However, if I do not, I can still wear it. The dress is very flow-y and feminine. The pockets are attractive and make the dress more practical. The price was right.

It’s a great summer dress! Easy to wear can wear a regular bra under no problem. Opaque and not see thru. I did wash it just in case the color bled and no issues! The only thing I’m not crazy about is that the shoulder straps hang down the outside of the dress. So I have my husband tuck them in the dress. Otherwise I love them! Length and fit is just right!

It’s not sheer. The fabric isn’t stiff (yay!) but has enough body to fall nicely. There’s a slit in back that I sewed up—my preference with this style of dress. The buttons are on the outside of the dress which means the strap excess (depending on the buttonhole you select for fit) hangs outside of the dress. The dress was not cotton like I expected, but instead has more of a polyester/fake silk look and feel to it. It was also super wrinkled when I got it, and I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be like that or not. Last, it’s at least one size too big. It doesn’t look bad or unflattering, but I’m on the fence as far as keeping it.
