For the price I am very pleased. I gave it 4’s for waterproof and sturdiness , because I have not had a chance to determine these yet, but it appears like it will be. I bought this for a stray that hangs around that I feed. It was very easy to assemble.

Yes it's weird to put together but not hard. Yes it's only a plastic piece over the top but you are getting what you pay for. We secured it better with office clips. It's holding up well.It will get wet, obviously, if it's on the ground. We have it on a tupperware that's slanted to keep water from puddling underneath, and used cords to make the sides longer so we could put it in the ground.We've started putting treats/food in it for the feral cats and they are taking them. They haven't slept in

The roof attaches to the body with hook and loop and keeps it attached well. The stray kitty I bought it for loves it. It seems to keep her nice and warm while we feed her food with antibiotics in it. I bought this so I can collapse it and store it when the kitties don't need it. But it is keeping the snow off them now. I will be buying another for the kitty's friend.

The product description is accurate so read carefully. I was a snap to assemble. i use it on a covered porch so haven't used the tie downs.

I actually purchased this shelter for a stray cat that has been hanging around our place a few months. But before I even moved it outside, our two house cats claimed it as their own. So I will likely need to buy another one for the little fella outside.

My neighbors cat hasn't gotten in it yet for any length of time. It's been way to hot, but I will update this in a few months when it cools off and we can see how well it actually works.

Due to some sircumstances one more chicken was kicked out of our main coop me refusing to build another "separate apartment "need something easy , quick and temporary to keep her out the weather where she can sleep.

I added extra insulation and a cushion to the bottom of the house for extra comfort. It also needs to set on something solid and slightly elevated to keep the bottom of the house dry. It's a good product for the money.

Smells Very Strong and Chemically. I don't know if it's the canvas treatment or coloring that made it smell so bad, but I do know that no animal will go inside it until it airs out a while. I thought it would be a little bit bigger than it actually was (My fault, I never checked the specs). I was hoping 2 adult cat's would fit, but it would be tight. The top is put on with Velcro and it's not as easy as it seems. A better design would be to make it a straight box, and have the Roof fit on top…
