Comfy but… for my opinion

This is a bit too bulky for a backpacking bag (to be fair I don’t think that is it’s intended purpose; if it is then knock off another star). However that isn’t why I returned it.It’s very comfortable but before even sleeping in it for a night there were threads and insulation coming out at the seems. Was surprised since Kelty is a trusted brand. Maybe I just got a lemon but this didn’t seem like it would last long.

Pros
  • Will probably only get used in winter because it’s so warm but solid bag for the price
Cons
  • Limited range of colors and designs

A decade of quality only got better

Ive utilized Kelty bags since 2013 and I've never had some of the common issues that other bags have given some conditions. I.e. Coleman's 20° mummy bag had its zipper fail after a few nights exposed to the cold and some dust debris. The kelty bag has held firm so far with no issues.I will update this review if I have any issues occur in the future but so far? Its great!

Pros
  • Optimal Combination of Warmth and Compressibility: ThermaPro is a fiber blend engineered to retain warmth & provide superior packability, even in cold and damp conditions.
Cons
  • May not be as water-resistant as advertised

Okay for the price good for me

Okay bag for the price, HEAVY (around 3lbs) and bulky for backpacking, have taken it on 4 trips now and am starting to become unhappy with the bulkiness of the bag (battle every time I have to shove it back in my pack). Zipper is a bit frustrating. Definitely not fustration-free.The True EN/iso comfort rating is like 32⁰ and the lower limit is around 22 ⁰ so I mean technically "not" an true 20⁰ bag.I think there are similar down bags for not too much more $, but if size and weight are not a…

Pros
  • Sleeping Bags & Camp Bedding
Cons
  • May be too warm for summer camping trips

Great sleeping bag in my review

This bag may not be light enough for backpacking, but it certainly is warm enough for the coldest of climates - and it's roomy but snug, perfect for cold weather car camping. And the price is very reasonable. I can't say enough good things about this bag!

Pros
  • The Kelty Tuck Synthetic Mummy Sleeping Bag is specifically designed for camping enthusiasts who want to stay warm and comfortable on their next adventure
Cons
  • May be difficult to adjust in the middle of the night

Not very wide best in my review

Bag was nicely made. I was excited to get it in and try it out. Super warm, however, it was made for someone with shoulders the width of my chest. You'd think for fitting a guy up to 6'6, it would be a bit wider at the top, but I couldn't get it over my shoulders, which means in a camping situation, my arms, shoulders and top of my chest would be exposed. Otherwise, it was a nice bag. Kind of sad I have to send it back and find something else.

Pros
  • This sleeping bag is designed with comfort in mind, featuring a spacious foot box that allows for natural movement and ventilation during sleep
Cons
  • May not be ideal for long-term camping trips

Recommended for my opinion

Awesome sleeping bag. That's my feedback! Coldest this year was 20’s. This system kept me warm all through the night, highly recommend!

Pros
  • The mid calf zipper is great if you prefer to get your feet out
Cons
  • Very warm and plenty of room inside.

Kept me warm in 40 degree night

I camped in Southern California recently and the nights were in the low to mid forties. This bag kept me warm in a 3 season tent and met my expectations for car camping. I am older and need extra warmth during the cold nights. I wore a base layer for comfort and snuggled very nicely. I am 5'8" and weigh 155 lbs. This bag might be a tight fit for someone 5'10" or taller. The bag packs down to a reasonable size in the stuff sack, but it is not a compression sack; however, I was not backpacking so

Pros
  • With its 2020 edition, this sleeping bag features improved insulation and better heat retention, ensuring that you can get a good night's sleep even in the coldest of temperatures
Cons
  • May not be as comfortable as a traditional rectangular sleeping bag

Dependable for my opinion

This sleeping bag will be used to hike and camp. I love Kelty products and expect many years of service from this bag. May not have enough insulation in certain areas of the bag.

Pros
  • 20 Degree Temp Rating, Women’s Size: Fits sleepers up to 5ft 8in, fill weight 49oz, total weight 4lbs 3oz, stuff size (non-compressed) 15. 5x9 inches. Color: Elm
Cons
  • May not have enough insulation in certain areas of the bag

Amazing Bag for the Money-Designed for Women!

Great bag for the money!I’ve used this for camping. Camped at Crater Lake. The husband froze, but I was snug & warm! The ability to unzip the foot area is awesome. The extra insulation where women typically need it (foot & hip) is fantastic. I’ve had much more expensive, big brand name bags that haven’t been nearly as comfortable. Great design job, Kelty!

Pros
  • This sleeping bag is made with high-quality synthetic materials that are lightweight, yet durable and long-lasting. It's also easy to pack and carry, making it an ideal choice for backpackers and hikers
Cons
  • Bag may not retain its shape over time
