Steamfast A600 017 Steam Press Stand Review

So I bought it for my matching steam press - and the thing is really short! I thought there was some sort of telescoping feature, but no. Unfortunately we will use it elsewhere as it is durable and neat but using it with my steam press will crack my back. Too bad.

Great stand. It supports the steam press without hesitation or risk of tipping over. It's a bit short, however, so you'll either have to constantly bend down to use it, causing back pain, or use a stand to raise it to a more comfortable height. I decided to build a 7 inch platform to raise it to rack height.

The stand adjusts the height of my Steam Fast SF-680 to the height of a traditional ironing board. It has retractable stops and a velcro strap to keep it in place. The stand is lightweight, so any side impact or bump could tip the device. I would suggest adding an anchor strap between the block and the wall; just like a TV so it won't tip over with a small child or pet.
