Rejected for iron

I didn't like this little steam iron. I bought it for traveling with my motorhome. I just opened it last weekend. To attempt. I quilt on the go and need something small to hold my stitches in place. Well, this little iron has water all over the bottom where you press. Water didn't stay in small holes. I want to return it for a refund. That is possible. Please reply. Thanks. sue

I love this iron! Compact, light and yet powerful. long cord.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this mini steam iron. It's everything I hoped for. Lightweight, easy to use and handles most tasks. My intended use is for small projects and patchwork so I can sit and press in one spot while sewing. I use a mini ironing board and a cutting and ironing board. The only problem was the thick melt fleece. I finally got it, but for fusible fleece it is recommended to use a standard size iron. Everything else from vinyl to canvas irons beautifullyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Recently bought this iron for a week off sewing. Space is small and it's good to have your own iron so you don't have to wait for me installed it near my sewing machine with the omnigrid iron and cutter station thought I would only use it for the two double size quilted tops I made The blocks required a lot of cutting and ironing This iron worked great It produces a lot steam to hold only 1.4 ounces of water (the water jug is the cutest little thing as a toy) I've been sewing and I'm glad Iโ€ฆ

  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • For old ones

I won't go to Germany without one!

I spend a lot of time in Germany, where irons are of course not part of the standard room - in fact, most of them are either delivered or the ironing room is in some damp basement. I asked for an iron once for 3 days and it wasn't available for all 3 days. Listen to this little guy. I've had it for 5 years now and it ALWAYS follows me abroad. It plugs directly into 220V with no setup (there must be some sort of automatic switch) and I just use a simple socket converter like the Ckitze USA toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Durable surfaces
Cons
  • I say nothing

DO NOT LEAVE PLUG

I have bought this little iron twice and it has served my purposes well. I sew and would like to have a small iron in my sewing room. I've never used the steam function because I don't think they don't leak (on this iron or any other). Both irons lasted about five years with perhaps slightly below average usage. I don't sew every day or sometimes even every week. It gets very hot and won't turn itself off, which is a plus in a sewing workshop, but it does take some time to cool down even afterโ€ฆ
