Too small for a 65lb 9 year old

I should have paid more attention to the low star reviews. It was really too narrow for my 9 year old who is quite skinny but you can tell there is no room for growth. It also has no bottom straps to prevent it from being pulled up towards the torso and neck.

Pros
  • Safety and buoyancy aids
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Waste of money for lifejackets and vests

Waste of money. I bought this for my 8 year old boy who weighs 62 pounds. It's awfully tight which I thought would hold it in place because unfortunately no life jacket comes with a crotch strap in the 50-90lb range. But he was still rolling in the water. So it's uncomfortable because it's tight and because it doesn't stay in place. Which is also dangerous. I can't imagine how that would fit on a 90 lb kid.

Pros
  • Designed for youth 50-90lbs
Cons
  • Mostly fine but...

The size is small enough for sport

Bought this for my 5 year old grandson who weighs about 54lbs as I think I might have a few more years of living off it. NOT RIGHT. This is a very well made good looking vest but my grandson is 52lbs and the zipper is tight he is NOT a fat kid. There's no way a 90-pound kid at 60-65 will fit this year, or even next. I needed it and I've used it this year, but I can already tell that it won't suit him next year. waste of money.

Much smaller than listed/only fits children under 26 " tall

Does not fit youth size. more than a youth jacket. The inner circumference is no more than 26 inches. It is advertised with a size of 26 to 29 inches. Absolutely not. This jacket may have had a bad batch or quality control issue. The jacket I bought is definitely not a youth size. It will not fit a child with a 26 inch chest. It's not as advertised. I am grateful that Revain stands behind all of their products and is willing to provide me with a return label / and a full refund.
