🔘 Steelex D2611 5" Polyurethane Swivel Caster Review

I bought 2 of these and 2 of the same size/type with no brakes. Below I've built in a heavy wooden cabinet that holds all of our entertainment equipment. The cupboard sits on a wooden floor and the old casters have dug into the floor and left marks. These casters leave no marks, roll smoothly and easily support the weight of the cabinet. The locking mechanism is very reliable. I love it!

I have used these casters on several projects in my wood shop. The first set I used was for an assembly table which was made from 3/4" thick plywood and the base cabinet is four feet square and the top has a six inch overhang on all sides. I really wanted a stool on wheels to move around in the closet. I love having a small seat but didn't want to lift it up to move it every time I need it somewhere else.
