Bearings failed after a few months

Bearing block failed after a few months, has excessive runout - can't find a way to get it back, looks like I'll have to eat it. DO NOT BUY.

Pros
  • Replacement bushings
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Can take insults. with inserts of the center drill

the thing is a beast. I use it to hold work on a lathe and keep it off balance. It sizzles a bit every now and then, but so far it still spins nice and correctly. I didn't expect it to last at all.

Pros
  • inserts of the center drill
Cons
  • the cord is shorter than with other picks

Fake rubber seal

The cone was not spinning when I took it out of the box. It started spinning normally after I applied some force. I unscrewed the ring covering the bearing (by hand, it wasn't tightened) and saw a rubber (or PVC) gasket there. The inside diameter of the stuffing box is 1-2mm larger than the corresponding diameter of the cone :(. So the stuffing box is a fake, it doesn't protect the bearing in any way. The bearing itself works very well but a normal seal will do its job most likely master. I…

Pros
  • Cutting tools
Cons
  • Slightly torn
