Useless Automotive Rubber part

The steering rubber that I purchased from this Performance Car Parts & Accessories store was a complete waste of money. Based on my experience, this product did not serve its purpose.

Pros
  • None
Cons
  • The rubber part did not fit well and caused a lot of noise while driving. I had to replace it within a few days of buying it. It was not a good investment.

Replacement OEM Silicone Ring Fits 2007 Honda Civic

The o ring fit was an exact OEM replacement for the power steering pump (intake side) on a 2007 Honda Civic and has definitely solved the problem. an issue with air pockets causing the pump to whine/squeak excessively.

Pros
  • Steering System
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it everything is fine

Parts problem solved

Before changing the power steering pump on the Acura MDX 06 and other models I would change the seals and fluid. He was whining a lot because he was sucking air into the system due to worn seals. These fillings solved the problem! The whole thing took about an hour, with no rush. A lot of $$$$ saved. Youtube video of how to perform this repair.
