Small but powerful.: Winches

The best thing I've ever had actually has a purpose that I can use to get out of a trouble spot or to get someone out of a stuck position.

Strong and durable winches

Attaches easily to our pontoon lift and does a better job than the previous winch which wore out prematurely. Haven't used the remote yet but hopefully soon. I like it

Winch customer service

Customer service was excellent. I had a problem with my winch and asked for their help and they sent me a new winch for free. Thanks ! I highly recommend them.

Great guys from Winches

UPS has had issues and delays in delivery but these guys really went out of their way and made the wait pleasant. This winch was used to raise and lower a heavy trailer door and thing works great. Excuse the clutter but we've added more shelves but this thing works great.

Not sure (update) suitable for towing gear and winches

Unfortunately only used 4 times and the loose spool broke like it was only held with rubber. Now it doesn't work at all. Comes with a one year warranty based on Q&A but was unable to contact seller. The seller replied and sent me a new device. Great service, a bit slow but done right.

Not worth the money

I got a tether instead of a synthetic tether, also one of the remote buttons was so sticky it became unusable. Its mounts are pretty good and I like its light weight, but overall it's overpriced and I wouldn't buy it again. Update: 5th use and the reversal doesn't work anymore, I have to reverse the polarity to make it work.

How does it get 5 stars?

The cables are not long enough! The manual shows that the junction box needs to be installed under the seat, and the handlebar connector can be 12 inches from the box! Looks like I'll have to buy a 3 prong extension cord to make it work. Then the power cables to the winch are SHORT again! Come on STEGOGON! You must be so stingy with the amount of cable you provide!
