Satisfied with seller's support

Works fine except I had face recognition issues. The item was returned too early. The support team answered my questions and concerns. I will buy from them again.

Camera fastener is extremely fragile

The camera fastener is very fragile and unlike many other strap fasteners, the locking part comes loose easily. I use a lot of these clasps and most clasps allow you to pull the watch out a millimeter to give you enough room to insert the band. This one has a latch that falls out completely, so you need to be extra careful when putting it back on, pointing it at the components of the board. I haven't tested it yet, so I can't say anything about functionality yet.

Inexpensive webcam based on 8266 processor

What happens when you combine the power of the ESP32 chip and the camera? You will receive this device. You need a USB to FTDI adapter to program this module. You need TX, RX, VCC, GND, and you need to ground IO0 to program it. It has lots of GPIOs so you can use a PIR or ultrasonic module running the ESP32CAM to capture an image or video. It supports SD cards, so you can save images to the hard drive.

Build a Wi-Fi Spy Camera on a Budget

The ESP32Cam itself is a good Wi-Fi webcam. However, in combination with a PIR sensor, you can create a camera that takes a photo when the sensor detects movement. See who's stealing your lunch in the break room or whose dog is doing their business on your lawn.
