Don't buy, not worth the money!

This countersink is crappy quality! It arrived damaged with a crack in the handle which I'm sure was not due to shipping. None of the cutting edges have been ground. In addition, the packaging says nothing about what is made in Austria!

Pros
  • Drill bit
Cons
  • Only available in white

No country of origin?

The description mentions "Austria" but the finish and appearance of the tools are similar to those made in a very large East Asian country. Shipping from California. Can't tell it's HSS, but it cuts mild steel at least once. Good cutting edge geometry for manual use and deburring bores. Update: Suitable for aluminum or soft brass, nothing harder. It would get 5 stars if it was HSS.Ed B.

Pros
  • Electric Drill Parts and Accessories
Cons
  • Unbelievable Price

Good quality, small handle

The metal countersink itself is excellent quality - nice and sharp and the 7 flutes give a smoother cut than similar hand countersinks I've tried in the past. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has attached it to a very thin handle that is difficult to grip and limits the amount of torque the user can apply, which in turn limits its usefulness when working with hardwoods. Otherwise an excellent tool - if the handle were a bit thicker, this countersink would easily get 5 stars. I'll probably cut…

Pros
  • Countersink
Cons
  • A few small things
