When I remove the antenna the reception is better, it breaks in the corner and I've only had it a few weeks. Was hoping it would be more durable.

Looks good. I can't say anything about the durability; Not that I've been using it for a year. So far with limited testing I can't say it outperforms the 16 inch stylus. Very good value for money.

The threads on the antenna are too small and do not screw deep enough into the radio, which can cause the antenna to break off, this improves radio transmission considerably. Good for a radio that can't handle much

This was a great purchase. Folds up nicely and fits in my rig and also fits the radio perfectly without being in my rig. Definitely recommend getting one of these if you're cop, military or just trying to put together a solid kit.

Can't tell any difference in transmit and receive power. When folded, the reception is really reduced. If you fold too much or stay folded for too long the antenna won't want to expand/erect and after a few weeks you'll see where the material tears.

I bought this for my Baeofeng radios to get good reception. Very satisfied, I like the folding design like we used in the army for short-range radios. This allows you to minimize the tactical load. It met my needs, improved my radio reception and extended my range by nearly two miles! Is worth the money and is a big improvement over the standard antenna.

Great antenna for my radio. The 6 inch radio tube would lose signal and not move 6 feet. Put those antennas on my radio and I could go almost 2 miles. Haven't had such a good signal in a long time. I almost threw it away My radio is missing. But decided to give them another chance with your antenna. And I want to say thank you, my radio is working great now and I have freed myself from buying news by getting your antenna.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I had to cut about 4mm of plastic on the bottom of the antenna around the SMA connector. It doesn't even screw in deep enough to hook the center conductor. Then. I have to admit that he is quite big compared to my little baofeng. So far only used for reception (with my radio as a "scanner"). "Bulky" but any 4 foot antenna is. Performance may vary depending on where you place it - if you do. I don't know enough to be sure about this, but I do know that the overall length has to "match" the wavelength. As far as a foldable antenna goes, it's beyond my current capabilities.
